ILOILO City – A 19-year-old and a minor were placed under citizen arredt for stealing and selling a bucket of fish at Iloilo Fish-Port Terminal.
July Gayuma told the ICPS1 police that he bought two buckets of fish for his business on Thursday around 11:30 p.m. at Iloilo Fish-Port Terminal for Php 3,100.00 each. He left it by the road and went back inside to buy more.
Gayuma was later informed by his brother that one of the buckets of fish was missing and asked assistance from the duty guard to search the place.
They were informed by Rojan Dela Rosa, 32, resident of Barangay North Baluarte, Molo, that two male person asked him to sell a bucket of fish for Php 2,000.00.
The persons were identified as Alfredo Jimena Jr, 19 and a minor. Suspects were placed under citizen arrest.
Dela Rosa gave Php 400.00 to Gayuma, Php 40.00 was recovered from Jimena and Php 35.00 from the minor, believed to be the remaining of the proceeds.
Suspects was placed under citizen arrest and later turned over to ICPS1 lockdown facility. The minor was turned over to WCPD and later was turned over to Balay Dalayunan, Bo. Obrero.
